Been a bit busy, y'know how it is :D
We've had a lovely quiet festive season with quite a lot of biscuits and some marzipan dipped in chocolate (made by the children - yes they were covered head to toe in chocolate, I couldn't take photos as I was too ;) ).
Here are a couple of bits and pieces I've made, although I still need to take a picture of the hobby horse, coat and hat and scarf set. I'm not a confident photographer and I just couldn't get half decent photos of them this morning. I have, however, finished Ted's doll's cardigan, some dungarees (couldn't get a decent close photo of them) and socks to match the cardigan. For Nin's doll I finished a pair of stockings:

Aside from that it's been brisk cold walks with the dog (and some extra teens, I seem to collect them in this house...)
The last photo is where we do most of our blackberry picking in the autumn, it looks so cold and bare now. The camera ran out of batteries at this point (which was a shame as we went to the playground and Erk took off his hat and put it on the ground next to the swing and the dog grabbed it and made off with Erk in hot pursuit, much to everyone's amusement - the dog was really, really pleased with himself). Oh and guess what? Ted did the whole walk with NO NAPPY! Yes, my little boy is now wearing pants in the day :)
Anyway, hopefully I'll get some photos of the hobby horse and other bits and pieces I've made soon (I'd also like to also get them posted up on Ravelry).
The pattern is written up, but I still need to post up some photos, plus a tutorial for the bendy body and sewing up the doll. Still, it's something to be getting on with and I'll post up further instructions for making the inner-body and sewing up soon! Anyway, here it is in it's basic form: Knitted Bendy Dollshouse Doll pattern.
Rather delayed as I found myself knitting a further doll for a little boy who was adamant for a, "Me too, Mummy! Doll, me too!" Who can resist a 2 year old, especially one who has seen his sister get a number of small dolls made for her recently and is desperate for a doll of his own to drive his wooden truck with. Bless him, he kept shoving the unfinished doll into my hands and even though the doll hasn't got any hair yet, Ted grabbed it as soon as the head was sewn on.
That particular doll has been knit in the round as opposed to in separate pieces and I will post a pic of him once his hair is sewn on. I will also be adding a pattern for a mermaid tail soon too - I promise :) In the meantime, here's a little buttercup faery I've knitted up:
It had been a cardi I'd knitted out of Noro Kureyon - but amazingly it was too big and as I don't plan on gaining weight to fit into it, I thought I'd take a gamble and throw it in the washing machine on a hot wash. It's come out rather nicely felted - shorter than it was, so now jacket-like and is, I'm guessing, a size 14 as it's a bit bigger than a friend who is a size 12 (it's too small for me atm) - still, rather pleased and I've hung it in the wardrobe for when I've lost a bit more weight to do a bit more with (like add some fixings etc.) The photos don't do it justice (I am a self-confessed useless photographer) and it looks rather nice.
Whilst Ned was throwing up and therefore attached firmly to me, I made this (whilst he was sat on me either dozing or munching):
